Fair Processing Notice
Introduction
Repair & Assure Limited understands that your information is important and in the wrong hands it poses a risk to your rights and freedoms. In order to help you protect your information this notice will explain what information we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it, how long we keep for, who can access it and what your rights are.
What we need
We need to collect the following information;
- Full name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Information about your appliance, including the manufacturer, model, warranty dates or guarantee dates and the age of the appliance.
- Home address
- Banking details & Payment details
We need this information in order to be able to;
- Handle your enquiries with your consent
- Carry out repairs requested
- Market our services where you have consented
- Take payments for services you have contracted
What do with it
We will add your information to our customer relationship management system. This information will be used to generate quotes for relevant servicing or plans, and relevant coverage questions.
When booking a repair, additional information may be taken that is needed for the booking, and that information will be passed through to our engineering partners so that they can attend the booking.
When you opt in to our marketing we will add your name to our call listings and contact you by telephone with relevant marketing offers, we will also contact you via email with relevant marketing options.
To make a payment your details are passed on to our card processing supplier and a record of the payment and whether it was successful is held in our accounting system and our customer relationship management system.
How long do we keep it
We will retain your information for 5 years after registration onto our customer relationship management system. In special circumstances including but not limited to fraud investigation, ongoing complaint proceedings, or additional opt-in marketing requests your data may be held in addition to our standard practice.
How will it affect you
Providing us with incorrect or incomplete information may affect our ability to provide you with effective cover, repairs, replacements or marketing offers. In addition, incorrect or incomplete information may negate any coverage with us up to and including warranty and guarantee coverage.
Who can see it
In order to repair your appliance, maintain your guarantee or warranty, or offer you a replacement appliance, we need to pass your information to:

We will not sell your data, nor pass it on to any third parties for marketing without your prior explicit consent.
How we protect it
All data you provide is kept secure and any staff or contractors that handle this data have a commitment and the necessary training to keep it private and secure. We have a number or procedures in plae to ensure that data is handled correctly, kept secure and have implemented the necessary technical controls to support these.
